loki software package provides MCMC linkage analysis on general pedigrees, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install loki
loki is installed in your system.
Make ensure the loki package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep loki *
You will get with loki package name, version, architecture and description in a table
